-What is Clip in Hair Extensions?
If you are looking for a quick do-it-yourself hair extension system with no long-term bonding or damage, then you have found it. Clip-In Hair Extensions are easy to attach and can be perfectly matched with your own hair - giving you longer hair and added volume. Clip in extensions can be clipped in and taken out in minutes and are virtually undetectable. Clip-in extensions save you time and money! They're quick, easy and affordable!
-How are they attached to my own hair?
They clip under your own hair by small snap clips. The clips we use are high quality clips with a silicone insert so they will not slip or damage your hair and are extremely secure. Once fitted, you will not be able to see the clips.
-How long do the extensions take to put in?
With practice, they should take 10 minutes to put in and about 2 minutes to take out!
-How long does my own hair need to be to use Luxura Locks Extensions?
As a general rule, your hair should be 6 inches or more to use Luxura Locks Extensions.
-How long do the extensions last?
Our extensions are the finest quality human hair, so they last as long as you want them to. If you look after your hair, it is not uncommon for extensions to last up to a year. If not treated well, they will need to be replaced every six months. The more you look after them the longer they will last.
-What type of hair is used in extensions?
We use 100% Brazilian Human Hair in our extensions. Nothing beats the versatility of human hair extensions. Human hair, unlike synthetic hair can be straightened with a flat iron, curled with heat, or chemically treated to perm or dye the hair. Thin and fine hair becomes full and thicker. Short hair transforms to long, luxurious hair. We guarantee that the hair we sell is 100% natural Brazilian human hair and its ethically sourced.
-What is the difference between Luxuralocks & other hair?
Our hair is pure, 100% virgin hair that has never been mixed, chemically processed or altered, you will never find a synthetic or animal fiber mixed in luxura locks Yes, we only use Remy Hair in our extensions. The term Remy means 'Cuticle correct'. This means that only the finest virgin (untreated and not previously colored) hair is used. The hair differs from normal 'Silky' hair that's available on the market, because it is hand picked and aligned so that every single strand runs in the same direction that it grows from the scalp. This ensures that the cuticle on each hair is running the same way (downwards), in order to keep the hair shiny, soft and truly tangle free. After picking and aligning, the hair goes through a gentle; but very complicated treatment process, to color, straighten or wave the hair in the best way. 'Silky' hair has the cuticle removed; whereas Remy hair has the cuticle still intact. Remy hair has a shine like none other and will not tangle when worn for long periods of time. We use a 3-headed sewing machine to make our wefts to ensure that the hair does not shed.
-What is the difference between 160g and 250g extensions?
The difference is only the weight. All our extensions are the same high quality. If your hair is thick or you are looking for lots volume as well as length, we recommend our Luxura Locks 160grams set. This set provides even more hair. It will blend in with naturally thick hair and create lots of volume for all hair types. If you like your hair extra thick then we recommend the Luxura Locks 250grams set.
-What clips do you use?
We use stainless steel metal clips with a secure rubber grip. They weigh very little and are small, so they are very easy to hide. The total weight of clips is a small fraction of hair weight.
-Can they be straightened and curled?
Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straightener or tongs, even when fitted. But as with your own hair, don't use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long. We highly recommend using a heat protectant before using hot tools.
-How do I know which color to choose?
We completely understand that choosing the right color from a computer screen cannot always be easy. To ensure the exact color please send us a sample of your own hair and we will try to match it. Or simply join our Facebook page and upload a picture of your hair color and we will help you pick out a color, or you can simply upload your photo onto our color match form. Hair extensions can usually be one shade lighter or darker than your hair and still blend in. It makes all the difference once they are clipped in. In general most people's hair is darker underneath than on top. We offer an easy exchange policy if your hair extensions do not match, simply return them along with a sample of your own hair (if necessary) for an exchange of the correct color or refund.
-Can I color the hair?
The hair can be colored. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. Blonde hair has been bleached so more caution must be taken. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions, as you will get the results you want. Coloring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. Always test a small sample first. We do not recommend bleaching the hair. Dyed extensions are non-returnable.
-Can I wash and blow-dry the hair extensions?
You can wash them as you would your own. We also recommend using a hair treatment on them every few weeks, because the hair is not attached to your scalp it is not getting the oils it should. Using a hair treatment will help keep them looking healthy and shiny longer! You will find that you don't need to wash your extensions too much, only about every 3 weeks. The extensions can be blow-dried, but it is not recommended to do so too often. It is best to let your hair extensions dry naturally after washing them.
-My color is out of stock. How can I know when the item is available?
To find out when an item is available, sign up for our newsletter. You will be the first to find out about sales, offers and new items. Due to popular demand, some colors sell out faster than others. We are always doing our best to get them in as quickly as possible, but because our extensions are made to the highest quality, production may take a while. We will restock every 2 weeks. We will attempt to keep the website updated regarding availability and dates.
-Where else can Luxura Locks Extensions be purchased?
Luxura Locks Extensions can only be purchased on this website. If you want to be sure you are buying genuine luxura locks extensions please purchase directly from us. If you're unsure about a website or shop that is selling our products, please contact us. Luxura Locks is a registered trademark and anyone using it without permission will be prosecuted.
-How long does shipping usually take?
Your Luxura Locks Extensions are shipped from our warehouse. (Please understand that it takes 24 hours to process the order. We do NOT process and ship orders the same day. Please allow up to 1-business days for orders to process. If you order on Monday, your order should ship out on Tuesday. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships. Approximate delivery times: USA: 3-5 business days. Ships with USPS First-Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Additional Shipping Options (Extra Charge). When choosing to pay extra for shipping please understand that it takes 24 hours to process the order.
-Shipping Delays
A signature is required for all of our orders to be delivered. It is always wise to order far enough in advance to allow for unanticipated delays. We are not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times. We entrust USPS to deliver your package on time. If your package is delayed we will not offer a reimbursement of shipping charges.
-Failed Deliveries / Refused Shipments / Incorrect Shipping Address
Incomplete or incorrect address information is the major cause of shipment delays. Check the address information on your order. Make sure you have included ALL the information (address, apt#, etc.) needed to deliver your package. Your order will be shipped via UPS to the address you provide. It is extremely important that you give us the most accurate and complete information possible. If an address correction needs to be made after your shipment has been sent you will be assessed the $10 fee UPS charges us to make the correction. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR REFUSED OR ABANDONED SHIPMENTS.
-Can I track my order?
You can check your order status by entering your tracking number on the USPS or UPS website.
-Do you have a Return Policy or Exchange Policy?
Our hair extensions cannot be returned once purchased has been placed;but untampered, unworn, and unopened packages can be exchanged within 15 days of purchase. All refunds are made within 15-30 days for custom orders or out of stock orders only when your order cannot be fulfilled or if a product has not been shipped yet.
-Why are Luxura Locks Extensions Non-Returnable if opened?
We will not accept any merchandise, which has been used or altered (brushed, combed, picked, cut, or processed) in any way.
According to the Federal law you cannot return human hair products that have been used. This includes removing the hair from the bundle and trying it on. We adhere to these strict policies with respect to hair returns, hygiene concerns and federal law. Please return the item in the original and resalable condition as a necessary health precaution. Note that perming, coloring, lifting or otherwise processing the hair voids ALL EXCHANGE AND REPLACEMENT guarantees. Product must be exchanged for something of equal or greater value. No refunds will be permitted
-How do I make a Return?
All Sales Are Final. Only exchanges can be made for unused or open product. You must contact us within 10-15 days for exchanges. We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). All Luxura Locks Extensions must be returned unopened in their original packaging. The packaging must not be defaced in any way or a return will not be issued. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice. We will then provide you with our return address. Once returned, the item(s) will be inspected to see if you qualify for a return. Opened merchandise will not be refunded and be sent back to buyer. You are responsible for all return shipping costs and we recommend that you send your return with a tracking number as we won’t be responsible for lost returns.Also, please indicate on package your Rma# or your package will be returned back to you.
-When will I receive my refund?
A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 15 to 30 days .
-Can I Return Luxura Locks Extensions without contacting you or getting an RMA?
No. You must contact us prior to sending your return, as our return address is different than where we ship our hair extensions. Also, the RMA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your refund.Please note that refunds for merchandise returned without contacting us will be denied as returns cannot be accepted at our facility.
